It shall be unlawful for any food dealer to engage in or to do business in the village without first having secured a license therefor. Applications for such licenses shall be made in compliance with the general provisions of this chapter, and shall state the kind of food intended to be sold or handled. The Health Officer and Building Inspector shall conduct an investigation of the persons and premises seeking such a license as required by the provisions of § 110.05 and shall report their findings, recommending or advising for or against the issuance of any such license.
