The fire prevention officers of the Bureau of Fire Prevention are hereby designated as conservators of the peace and are hereby empowered to issue citations within the limits of the village to any person the fire prevention officer reasonably believes has violated any ordinance of the village or state law relating to fire prevention matters or conditions hazardous to life or property from fire or explosion.
