(A) Commission and Committee members must be residents of the village or village business owners, provided that a majority of a given Commission or Committee members are residents of the village.
(B) Members of the Civil Service Commission, Economic and Commercial Commission, Plan Commission, and the Zoning Board of Appeals must be residents of the village. Current, non-resident Commissioners serving in one of the aforementioned commissions will be permitted to continue serving until (1) he or she is not re-appointed or (2) he or she resigns.
(C) All Commission and Committee Chairs must be residents of the village, with the exception of the Advisory Commission on Labor and Development, the Environmental Enhancement Commission, and the Sister Cities Commission.
