(A) Creation of office. There is hereby created the office of Planning Technician, an administrative office of the village, reporting to the Director of Community Development.
(B) Appointment and term of office. The Planning Technician shall be appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Trustees, upon the recommendation of the Village Manager, and shall serve at the pleasure of the President and Board of Trustees.
(C) Duties. The Planning Technician shall be responsible for assisting in varied planning, zoning, and code enforcement functions relating to the operation of the Development of Community Development, and shall be responsible for all duties as outlined in the village approved job description.
(D) Compensation. The Planning Technician shall receive such compensation as the Village Board shall fix from time to time.
