§ 31.005 MAYOR AS VILLAGE PRESIDENT.
   (A)    The Village President may be referred to as Mayor of the village; the term "Village President" as used in any ordinance, resolution, motion, or other action of the corporate authorities shall be construed as meaning the Mayor; and the term "Mayor" wherever so used shall be construed to mean the Village President.
   (B)    The title "Mayor," as used in the minutes of the meetings of the corporate authorities, or any other official document, shall be construed as meaning "Village President."
