When authorized by the City Administrator, Police Chief or his designee, the Tiffin Police Department is authorized to provide police protection when such is requested by the Police Chief or his designee of that political subdivision, whether or not a mutual aid contract exists. Such assistance shall not be authorized if it would jeopardize the ability of the Tiffin Police Department to provide protection to the City.
