141.10  VEHICULAR PURSUIT POLICY.
   (a)   Any police officer of the City with authority to arrest and detain may pursue a violator outside the limits of the City and detain that person until a warrant can be obtained if all of the following apply:
      (1)   The pursuit takes place without unreasonable delay after the offense is committed or becomes known;
      (2)   The pursuit is initiated within the limits of the City;
      (3)   The driver of the emergency vehicle while in the pursuit of a violator of any state law or municipal ordinance shall comply with the requirements of Section 333.06.
   (b)   The City Administrator, pursuant to Section 6.03(C) of the City Charter and Ohio R.C. 737.13, may make additional rules and regulations pertaining to the pursuit of alleged violators of the law that are not contradictory to the provisions of subsection (a) hereof.
