141.06  PAYMENT FOR OFF-DUTY EMPLOYMENT IN UNIFORM.
   (a)   Off-duty officers performing paid law enforcement duties while in regular police uniform for an employer other than the City shall be considered under the laws of Ohio to be in a joint employment relationship.  The hours worked for such other employers while in uniform shall be included in the total number of hours worked by the officer each week.
   (b)   Police officers wearing their regular uniforms while employed by an employer other than the City shall arrange for their pay charged to the other employer to include the cost of time and one-half which they would be entitled to receive if working for the City instead of the second employer.  Officers who agree to work for a second employer for less than one and one-half times their regular wage shall not hold the City liable for payment of any difference between the wage paid and the wage calculated at one and one-half times the normal rate.
   (c)   Police officers shall report to the Director of Finance on a monthly basis all hours worked in regular uniform for an employer other than the City.
