935.07  MOTOR VEHICLE REGULATIONS; BASEBALL FIELD LIGHTS;
        HORSES.
   (a)   No person shall drive or operate any vehicle within the City parks except on improved roadways.
   (b)   No person shall park any vehicle within the boundaries of City parks except within twenty feet of improved roadways and established parking lots within the park.
   (c)   The Park and Recreation Board shall have the authority to temporarily suspend the operation of the prohibitions in subsections (a) and (b) hereof on special occasions by a written pronouncement.
   (d)   No person shall turn on lights installed for the purpose of lighting the baseball diamonds within City parks without prior authorization from authorized park or recreation personnel.  No person shall play on or use baseball diamonds which have been lighted without prior authorization from authorized park or recreation personnel.
   (e)   No person shall ride or walk a horse or other animal of burden within the City parks.

   (f)   No person shall park any vehicle within the boundaries of any City park during hours when such park is closed to the public as indicated by signs posted at the park entrances.
   (g)   Upon determination that a vehicle is parked contrary to subsection 935.07(f), police officers shall prepare a violation citation and attach same to the vehicle, and such citation shall be directed against the owner of the vehicle as defendant as provided by the terms of Section 351.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the City.  Police officers are authorized to provide for the removal and impounding of any vehicle left unattended within the boundaries of any City park at times when such park is closed to the public as indicated by signs posted at the park entrances.  The Police Department shall forthwith notify the registered vehicle owner of the fact of such removal and impounding, reasons therefor, and place of storage.  Any person desiring to redeem an impounded vehicle shall appear at the Police Department to furnish satisfactory evidence of identification and ownership or right to possession.  Prior to issuance of a release form, the claimant, owner or operator shall either pay the amount due for any fines or violations on account of which such vehicle was impounded, or, as the Court may require, post a bond in an amount set by the Court, to appear to answer such violations.  The pound operator shall release such vehicle upon receipt of the release form and payment of all towing and storage charges.
