A. Presentation For Payment: Whenever a special improvement district or sewer warrant shall have been issued by the City, and said warrant shall bear upon its face the regularity of issuance, as prescribed in this Chapter relating thereto, it shall be presented to the City Clerk for payment.
B. No Funds; Register Warrant: If there are no funds to the credit of the said special improvement district fund sufficient to pay said warrant, it shall be the duty of the City Clerk to register said special improvement or sewer warrant in a book to be provided for the purpose, and said registry shall set forth the number of the special improvement or sewer district, the date of registration of said warrant and the amount of such warrant, the person to whom said warrant is issued, and the City Clerk shall endorse upon the face of said warrant the date of registration of said warrant and shall affix his signature thereto.
