A. Hazardous And Toxic Substances: The substances to be regulated include certain known hazardous or toxic substances which may cause contamination of the Three Forks aquifer.
B. List Of Substances; Periodic Review: The substances to be regulated are those set forth on, or referred to in, the list entitled "Exhibit A, Regulated Substances", Section 9-3-8 of this Chapter. The list will be reviewed and revised as necessary by formal amendment of this Chapter. A mixture shall be deemed a regulated substance if it contains more than one percent (1%) by volume of any regulated substance.
C. Exceptions: This Chapter shall not apply to regulated substances that:
1. Are handled in a quantity less than or equal to the household quantity listed for that substance in Exhibit A, Section 9-3-8 of this Chapter;
2. Are contained in consumer products packaged for distribution to, and use by, the general public for personal or household purposes;
3. Are contained in commercial office supplies used by a business not engaged in commercial printing or reproduction;
4. Are contained in a vehicle fuel tank. (Ord. 225, 1993)
