1-6-12: ABSENCE OF MAYOR:
In the absence of the mayor, the president of the city council, or in his absence the vice president of the council, if there shall be such an officer, shall perform all the duties and functions of the mayor as may be required by the ordinances of the city, and part 4, title 3 of the political code of the state of Montana. (1977 Code § 2.16.120)
