Sec. 5-9.01. Definitions.

   For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise apparent from the context, certain words and phrases used in this chapter are defined as follows:

   (a)   “Establishment” shall mean and include a hotel, motel, lodging house, guest house, boardinghouse, or other facility where sleeping accommodations are made available to the public.

   (b)   “Guest” shall mean and include a patron, lodger, or roomer.

   (c)   “Proprietor” shall mean and include the owner, manager, operator, desk clerk, or other employee whose duty it is to register patrons of the establishment.
