Sec. 1-6.02. Enforcement.
   It is unlawful for any person to maintain, permit or allow a public nuisance to continue to exist upon property owned, controlled, maintained or occupied by them after receipt of a fifteen (15) day written notice to abate, correct, or remove same has been served upon such person, from the City Attorney, a health officer, or code enforcement officer. Each day the nuisance continues after service of such notice shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. Enforcement and abatement of a nuisance violation by way of criminal prosecution is an alternate and additional remedy to other abatement and enforcement procedures available to the City.
