Sec. 1-15.01. Purpose.
   The interests of the citizens of the City of Thousand Oaks are best served by allowing voters to choose Councilmembers for themselves. The purpose of this chapter is to ensure that members of the Thousand Oaks City Council have received the direct approval from the voters and are thus elected to their respective positions on the Council.
