Sec. 9-4.2312. Signs seal program: Exceptions.
   (a)   In addition to the permit required by Section 9-4.2302, every sign for which this chapter imposes standards shall have a City seal which will include an identification number, the name of the installer, the installation year, and when illuminated, the voltage. This seal shall be placed on the exterior surface of the sign body in a location where such information is readily visible after the installation and erection of the sign. The fee for the seal shall be set by City Council resolution. Seals will be assigned upon completion of the sign in accordance with applicable laws and conditions of the permit.
   (b)   Change in copy and/or sign facia shall require a sign seal and permit prior to its approval and registration.
   (c)   The seal and fee requirements of this section shall not apply to temporary political signs.
