§ 130.999 PENALTY.

   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, any person violating any provision of this chapter or any order made by the Town Council in accordance with the terms of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500.

   (B)   (1)   Any person violating any provision of §§ 130.020 or 130.021 shall be guilty of an ordinance violation and shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500.

      (2)   Upon conviction of a violation of §§ 130.020 or 130.021, any weapon seized by law enforcement authorities shall be confiscated by the trial court and, when no longer needed for evidentiary purposes, the court may transfer such weapon to the County Sheriff’s Department who shall dispose of such firearm within the intent of state law.
