(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess or consume any alcoholic beverage within the Thorntown Park, except during special events which events are approved in advance by the Town Council and are for the positive promotion of the town.
(B) It remains unlawful for any person to possess or consume any alcoholic beverage within the Thorntown Park at any time except during said special events that are specifically exempted from this provision by the Town Council.
(C) In the event a determination is made by any law enforcement officer that a person is in violation of the prohibition concerning possession or consumption of alcoholic beverage within the Thorntown Park, except for during the exempted special event, the officer may proceed to enforce the prohibition under all existing ordinances, including the penalty provision stated in § 94.99 of the Town of Thorntown, Indiana, Code of Ordinances.
