§ 150.136 ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS.
Where a new system is connected to the city’s water facilities, conforms to the city’s design and construction requirements, is located in a public right-of-way or a dedicated public utility easement, and is accepted by the city, the petitioner may dedicate the public components of the system to the city, as public improvements, after installation. As-built plans for the completed system, as accepted, shall be filed with the city’s utility manager. Fire hydrants and their connecting facilities shall be considered part of the water system if they serve the public at large and are not part of a private fire protection system serving a single lot or building.
