§ 52.22 TAP CHARGE.
   (A)   All users, at the time of connection to the waterworks system, shall pay a charge to cover the cost of tapping the main, furnishing and laying service pipe, corporation and stop cocks, service and meter box and furnishing and installing the meter.
   (B)   The charge for a 5/8 or 3/4-inch meter shall be $1,613.19 if the meter installation requires a cut of a paved street or alley. If the installation does not require the cut of a paved street or alley, the charge shall be $1,206.29. The charge for a tap larger than the 3/4-inch meter tap will be the cost of labor and materials, but not less than $1,613.19.
   (C)   There shall be an automatic increase in these tap charges of 2% annually, with the first increase to be effective January 1, 2023, and to increase 2% annually thereafter on January 1 of each successive year.
