A. Upon satisfying the requirements of section 9.61.030 of this chapter, the director or designee shall issue to the owner a receipt and an off leash area permit/tag in the form of a tag for each dog permitted. The off leash area permit/tag shall have stamped thereon the off leash area permit/tag number, corresponding with off leash area permit/tag number on the receipt. The owner shall attach the off leash area permit/tag to the collar or harness of the dog and see that the dog constantly wears the collar and off leash area permit/tag while in the off leash area. Failure to attach the off leash area permit/tag as provided shall be a violation of this chapter.
B. Off leash area permit/tags are not transferable from one dog to another or from one owner to another. No refunds shall be made on any off leash area permit/tag for any reason whatsoever. Replacement for lost or destroyed off leash area permit/tags shall be allowed upon payment to the division of the replacement off leash area permit/tag fee set forth in the fee schedule of title 8, chapter 8.99 of this code.
