§ 70.07 PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS.
   (A)   No person shall stop any vehicle on any footway or pedestrian aisle, safety zone, or other street crossing. For the purpose of this division (A), SAFETY ZONE shall mean and be construed as the area or space set aside within the intersection of a street or highway for the exclusive use of pedestrians and which is marked or indicated by parallel lines.
   (B)   Pedestrians in a crosswalk shall have the right-of-way over motor vehicles. When approaching a crosswalk, the driver of every motor vehicle shall slow or stop his motor vehicle in order to yield the right-of-way to any person or persons in the crosswalk. For the purpose of this division (B), CROSSWALK shall mean and be construed as the area or space set aside on a street for the exclusive use of pedestrians and which is marked or indicated by short diagonal lines within the parallel lines.
