ORDINANCE NO. 169 (1-24-01)
   AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAYLOR MILL, IN KENTON COUNTY, KENTUCKY, ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF TAYLOR MILL.
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the 1999 S-5 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Taylor Mill, which supplement includes all ordinances of a general nature through Ordinance 153 (7-28-99) enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Taylor Mill; and
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes;
   WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Commission to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;
   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TAYLOR MILL, IN KENTON COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AS FOLLOWS:
   SECTION 1.  Adoption of 1999 S-5 Supplement
   A copy of the 1999 S-5 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Taylor Mill is submitted by the American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, accompanies this ordinance, and it is hereby made a part of the permanent records of the City of Taylor Mill; and the provisions thereof are hereby adopted. by reference, without setting them out in full, pursuant to the authority of KRS 83A.060.
   SECTION 2. Provisions Severable
   The provisions of this ordinance are severable; and the invalidity of any provision of this ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other provision thereof; and such other provisions shall remain in full force and effect as long as they remain valid in the absence of those provisions determined to be invalid.
   SECTION 3. Conflicting Ordinances Repealed
   All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
   SECTION 4. Effective Date
   This ordinance shall be effective as soon as possible according to law.
   SECTION 5. Publication
   This ordinance shall be published in summary pursuant to KRS 83A.060 (9).
