§ 114.02 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   All insurance companies are prohibited from engaging in the insurance business within the corporate limits of the city without a valid license issued by the City Clerk/Tax Collector. For the purposes of this chapter, engaging in the insurance business in the corporate limits of the city includes, but is not limited to:
   (A)   Any act of an insurance company, its officers, agents, servants, employees, or contractors within the corporate limits of the city; or
   (B)   Issuance of policies of insurance for risks located within the corporate limits of the city; or
   (C)   Issuance of policies of insurance to persons who are residents of the city or who conduct business therein; or
   (D)   Appointment of agents who conduct business in the city.
