(A) Attached to Ord. 148 (5-12-99), passed 5-12-99, and incorporated herein by reference is a schedule of those streets in the city, which have previously become open to the public by dedication or otherwise, and accepted for maintenance by the city, but only according to and consistent with the existing pavement thereof, so that the streets with gravel surfaces will be maintained with gravel, and the streets with tar and chip surfaces will be maintained with tar and chip, and streets with blacktop surfaces will be maintained with blacktop. Concrete streets may be maintained with either concrete or blacktop. No other street shall be maintained by the city, unless the other street is hereafter accepted for maintenance by the city, either by ordinance or otherwise by operation of law.
(B) The City Administrative Officer shall cause to be maintained in the office of the City Clerk, an official schedule of all streets which have been accepted for maintenance by ordinance of the city, either by ordinance or otherwise by operation of law.
