Pursuant to the authority of KRS 82.625, the following changes are hereby imposed upon motor vehicles impounded by or on behalf of the city through its officer or agency. The city shall have a lien upon the motor vehicle and the release of such motor vehicle from impoundment is hereby conditioned upon the payment of charges to or on behalf of the city unless the owner or any other person entitled to possession challenges the validity of impoundment pursuant to KRS 82.625(4).
(A) A towing charge of fifty dollars ($50.00);
(B) Storage charges of seven dollars ($7.00) for each day of storage;
(C) Any and all other reasonable and extraordinary towing expenses; and
(D) A handling charge of fifty dollars ($50.00).
