(A) All water cut-off valves shall be placed at the curb of the street in front of the building to be supplied with water unless the building inspector orders the cut-off valve placed at some other secure and convenient place. Building inspector orders with respect to the placement of water cut-off valves must be in writing.
(B) All water cut-off valves shall be placed in cast iron chambers.
