In order to facilitate movement of traffic and combat the hazards of snow and ice on snow emergency routes named in Chapter 75, Schedule IV of this code of ordinances, the borough may declare a snow emergency. Information on the snow emergency shall be given by the borough through radio, newspaper and other available media, and information on the termination of the emergency may be given by the same media.
