Lot Grading Checklist | ||
This checklist shall be completed at the time that an application for a lot grading permit or a building permit is received by the Zoning Officer. | ||
Check the appropriate block for answers to the following questions regarding the proposed development or lot grading. | ||
Yes | No | Question |
Is there a known drainage problem in the area of proposed grading change? | ||
Will the proposed grading or development involve any new stormwater facilities or revisions to existing stormwater facilities? | ||
Will the proposed grading or development create a substantial difference to the existing elevation or drainage patterns on the involved or adjacent properties? | ||
Will the proposed grading or development require a waiver of any setback requirements or stormwater easement restrictions? | ||
Is the total area of the disturbance greater than 1,500 square feet? | ||
If any of the above questions is answered yes, then either: | ||
1. The Borough Engineer shall review the application to determine if a lot grading permit is required; or | ||
2. The Borough Engineer or the Zoning Officer may require notes regarding grading to be placed on a building permit without requiring a lot grading permit to be issued. | ||
