SCHEDULE V. TRUCK TRAFFIC PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Except as expressly permitted under §§ 71.15 through 71.22, no person shall operate a truck or truck-tractor or semi-trailer or truck-tractor and trailer combination, or truck and trailer combination in the borough on Broad Street between Bushkill and Eight Streets (“restricted street”).
   (B)   (1)   Due to the engineering determination that heavy truck traffic is not compatible with the residential traffic using these streets and the roadway design was not intended to withstand heavy volumes of truck traffic, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle, other than a passenger car, on any of the following streets or parts of streets:

Between
Mill Race Drive
Eighth Street (SR 2017) to the Borough of Tatamy-Palmer Township boundary
Mill Brook Court
The cul-de-sac to the Borough of Tatamy-Palmer Township boundary
 
      (2)   Nothing in this division (B) shall prohibit any person from driving an emergency vehicle on any of the streets or parts of streets, or from driving on any of these streets or parts of streets a truck or other commercial vehicle making local deliveries to or pickups from premises located along that street or part of the street.
   (C)   (1)   Any person violating any provision of this schedule, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 71.99.
      (2)   Any person violating division (B) above shall be guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $500.
