(a) The City of Tallmadge Economic Development Programs provide monetary incentives to businesses occupying new and/or existing industrial or commercial buildings, where such occupancy creates new jobs in the City of Tallmadge and/or eliminates a blight from the community to enhance new economic development. The authority for these programs is derived from the purposes set forth in the Ohio Constitution, Article VIII, Section 13. These purposes recognize the significance of creating and preserving jobs, employment opportunities, and improving the economic welfare of our citizens.
(b) This program may be used in conjunction with other incentive programs available from the federal government, the state, the county, and the City.
