(a) The Fire Chief shall be in full charge of the Tallmadge Fire and EMS Department and shall be responsible for all buildings, apparatus and equipment, and shall perform the duties required by the ordinances of the City and the laws of the state.
(b) Full-time Firefighter/Paramedics shall perform such duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
(c) Part-time members shall perform such duties as assigned by the Chief or in the Chief’s absence, by the full-time Firefighter/Paramedics. In the absence of the Chief and all full- time Firefighter/Paramedics, the part-time members shall assume command in order of rank and seniority.
(d) A current job description shall be maintained in the Human Resource Department for each of the separately described positions within the department.
