Pursuant to Ohio RC. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by the Municipality, the Ohio Building Code (OBC), as adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, effective January 1, 2002, and as published in Division 4101:2 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). All subsequent editions of the Ohio Building Code adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, together with any amendments adopted thereto, shall continue in effect until amended by Council.
