Classified Civil Service employees of the City on the effective date of this Charter shall continue in such employment pursuant to all the provisions of Civil Service rules and regulations adopted by or pursuant to this Charter.
All existing Boards and Commissions other than those that are newly created by this Charter shall continue pursuant to the ordinances and resolutions creating them until such time as they shall be revised. All present members of Boards and Commissions will remain in their present positions until the Mayor either reappoints or removes them. (Amended 11-8-11)
