The Board of Zoning Appeals shall consist of five (5) members, and may consist of one (1) alternate, appointed for staggered terms of four (4) years.
The members of the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. The appointments to the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be confirmed by Council within 30 days after written notification to Council of the appointment is made by the Mayor. If Council fails to act upon the Mayor's appointment within 30 days, the appointment shall be deemed approved. (Amended 11-8-11; 11-2-21)
