All persons appointed to any Board or Commission shall be qualified electors of the City, unless otherwise provided for in this Charter.
No voting member of a Board or Commission shall be an elected or appointed official, officer, or employee of the City, unless otherwise specified in this charter.
Council shall determine the compensation, if any, of the members of the Boards and Commissions and shall provide for all necessary expenses.
Members of each Board or Commission may serve multiple terms and they shall serve until their respective successors are appointed and confirmed.
At the first meeting of each year, each Board and Commission shall select a Chair from its appointed members who shall serve for one (1) year. A member may serve multiple terms as Chair.
A vacancy during the term of any Board or Commission member shall be filled for the remaining unexpired term in the same manner as that vacated member's original appointment.
