The Mayor shall appoint a Director of Administration who shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. This appointment is not subject to the confirmation of Council. The Director of Administration shall be the principal managerial aide to the Mayor and shall perform such duties as may be assigned to him or her by the Mayor, including but not limited to those listed in Section 8.03 of this Article.
