721.01 DEFINITIONS.
   The following definitions shall apply to this chapter:
   (a)    "Contractor" means an individual or business entity who (1) for compensation, directs, supervises or has responsibility for the means, method, and manner of all or any portion of the construction, improvement, renovation, repair, or maintenance on a building project and/or any construction project within a public street or utility right-of-way and (2) who offers, identifies, advertises, or otherwise holds out or represents that the individual or business entity is permitted or qualified to perform, direct, supervise, or have responsibility for the means, method and manner of all or any portion of the construction, improvement, renovation, repair, or maintenance on a building project and/or any construction project within a public street or utility right-of-way.
   (b)    "Sewer Installer" means an individual or business entity who engages in the business of installation, construction, improvement, renovation, repair, or maintenance of underground sanitary sewers and appurtenances thereto.
   (c)    "Sign Contractor" means an individual or business entity who engages in the business of outdoor advertising, electric signs, or commercial signs within the City limits.
   (d)    "Specialty Contractor" means all contractors subject to the licensing requirements of Chapter 4740 of the Ohio Revised Code and all heating, ventilating and air conditioning contractors, refrigeration contractors, electrical contractors, plumbing contractors and hydronics contractors engaged in the construction, replacement, maintenance, or repair of one-family, two-family or three-family dwellings or accessory structures incidental to those dwellings.
   (e)    "Timely Notify" means within seven business days.
