SECTION 3.01 ELECTION AND TERM

Commencing with the regular Municipal election held in November 1995, and every four (4) years thereafter, the Mayor shall be elected in accordance with Article XV of this Charter and the general election laws.

The term of the Mayor shall be four (4) years beginning January 1 following the election and he or she shall hold office until a successor is elected and qualified.
