For the purposes of this chapter the following definitions shall apply:
(a) "Family home" means a residential facility that provides room and board, personal care, habilitation services, and supervision in a family setting for not more than eight persons with developmental disabilities.
(b) "Group home" means a residential facility that provides room and board, personal care, habilitation services, and supervision in a family setting for at least nine but not more than sixteen persons with developmental disabilities.
(c) "Rest homes" means any place in which room and board are provided for three or more persons, not currently gainfully employed, for hire.
