In the event that the false alarm fee, prescribed in Section 755.05 or the Hearing Officer's ruling from an appeal, is not paid within thirty days of the date of the False Alarm Notice or the date of the Hearing Officer's appeal resulting notice, it shall be deemed a debt owed to the City. The Director of Law is empowered to institute appropriate proceedings to collect such debt in a court of competent jurisdiction.
