§ 34.10  SMALL PURCHASES.
   (A)   Purchases generally.
      (1)   Small purchases. A purchasing agent for the county may purchase supplies with an estimated cost of less than $50,000 or the amount specified for small purchases pursuant to I.C. 5-22-8-2. which ever is greater, on the open market without inviting or receiving quotes.
      (2)   Small purchases of $50,001 to $150,000. A purchasing agent may make a small purchase expected to be between $50,001 and $150,000 by soliciting three quotes and waiting seven days as specifically set out in I.C. 5-22-8-3.
   (B)   Effective date. This section shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage and recordation or publication as required by law.
