If an initial notice of the violation of an ordinance was provided by certified mail or equivalent service under § 91.04, a continuous abatement notice may be posted at the property at the time of abatement instead of by certified mail or equivalent service as required under § 91.04. A continuous abatement notice serves as notice to the real property owner that each subsequent violation during the same calendar year for which the initial notice of the violation was provided, may be abated by the court, or its contractors without any additional notice. Bills will be sent to at least one of the landowners as provided in § 91.05(B) and, if not paid, an additional weed lien will be certified as provided in § 91.05(B) and § 91.05(C).
