Pursuant to authority conferred by Section 2721 of the Borough Code, Council hereby elects not to create a separate Shade Tree Commission, but to assume and exercise the powers and duties of such a commission as provided in this chapter. The Tree Committee established pursuant to Section 266.02 shall act as Council's agent and may adopt regulations which, when approved by motion recorded in the minutes of Council, shall be as binding as if set forth herein.
