(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
(B) Whoever violates § 52.29 is guilty of tampering with utility equipment. If the cost of the water and sewer service stolen, plus the cost of repair or replacement of the meters, conduits or attachments damaged in violation of § 52.29 is less than $150, tampering with utility equipment is a misdemeanor of the first degree. If the cost of the water and sewer service stolen, plus the cost of repair or replacement of the meters, conduits or attachments damaged is $150 or more, or if the offender has previously been convicted of a violation of § 52.29, tampering with utility equipment is a felony of the fourth degree. Whoever violates § 52.29 shall make restitution to the utility for the cost of repair or replacement of the meters, conduits or attachments damaged and for the value of the water and sewer service consumed.
