(A) No person shall discharge any cannon, air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm, or any device discharging blanks, within the corporate limits of the municipality.
(B) This section does not extend to cases in which firearms are used in self defense, in the discharge of official duty, in justifiable homicide or when lawfully authorized by the Mayor or Police Chief.
