2-2-1: BOARD CREATED; APPOINTMENT; TERMS; REMOVAL; COMPENSATION:
There is hereby created for the purpose of overseeing the activities of the facilities of the campus of Moritz Community Hospital, Sun Valley, Idaho, the reorganized Moritz Community Hospital board of trustees. (Ord. 257, 9-24-1992)
   A.   Selection Of Voting Members: The membership of the board shall consist of six (6) members appointed by the mayor of the city, with the consent and approval of the city council, and the makeup of the board shall be as prescribed by the healthcare partnership agreement by and between Blaine County and the city dated June 4, 1991, effective February 1, 1992, as amended.    B.   Terms Of Office: Members of the board shall serve three (3) year terms.
   C.   Resignation And Removal: A member of the board may resign at any time by giving written notice of said resignation to the chairman of the board. In addition, any trustee may be removed by a majority of the voting members of the board at a meeting called for that purpose, exclusive of the trustee being requested to resign. Further, any member of the board of trustees absent for three (3) consecutive board meetings, without good cause, shall be deemed to have resigned. Existence of good cause for such absences shall be determined by the chairman of the board of trustees.
   D.   Vacancies: Vacancies on the board of trustees arising from death, resignation, removal or other cause shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointments. Any trustee so appointed shall hold office for the unexpired term of his predecessor.
   E.   Compensation: The members of the board shall be entitled to receive such compensation for their services as the city council may establish, and from time to time amend, by resolution. (Ord. 257, 9-24-1992)
