A. Administration And Enforcement Generally: It shall be the duty of the police department to enforce the street traffic regulations of this city and all of the state vehicle laws applicable to street traffic in this city, to make arrests for traffic violations, to investigate accidents and to cooperate with officers of the city in the administration of the traffic laws and in developing ways and means to improve traffic conditions, and to carry out those duties specially imposed upon said department by the traffic provisions of this code.
B. Records Of Traffic Violations: The police department shall keep a record of all violations of the traffic provisions of this code or of the state vehicle laws of which any person has been charged, together with a record of the final disposition of all such alleged offenses. For each month and year a written record shall be kept available to the public showing the disposition of all offenses. (Ord. 29, 8-19-1970)
C. Violation: It is a misdemeanor for any person to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this title, unless otherwise governed by the Idaho Code, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to the penalty provisions in section 1-4-1 of this Code.
