4-1-1: REAL PROPERTY NUISANCES DEFINED:
For the purposes of this chapter, the term "nuisance" shall mean any condition or use of real property which is detrimental to the normal use and enjoyment of adjacent or surrounding real property or which tends to cause substantial diminution in value of other real property in the immediate vicinity. Specific conditions or uses of real property constituting a nuisance shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
   A.   Abandoned, Junked Items: The unenclosed storage thereon of unused, inoperable, abandoned or junked automobiles 1 , machinery, equipment, implements, vehicles, furniture or appliances.
   B.   Building Materials, Garbage, Trash: The maintaining, depositing or unenclosed storing thereon of lumber, building materials, trash, garbage 2 , debris, shrub or tree trimmings, logs or other unused, discarded or abandoned objects.
   C.   Compost Piles: The maintaining thereon of any compost pile which is of such a nature as to spread or harbor disease, emit unpleasant odors or harmful gas, or attract rodents, vermin or other disease carrying insects or animals. (Ord. 455, 12-6-2012)
