§ 52.36  METERING EQUIPMENT; LINE REPAIR.
   (A)    At the most advantageous point for the utility, the Sunman Utility Department shall furnish and maintain on or inside the customers’ property line all metering equipment.  Metering equipment used to furnish water and to meter water at the customers’ property remains the property of the Sunman Utility Department and therefore cannot be altered or tampered with in any way or manner.  The customer shall furnish and maintain the water line lateral from the meter box to its destination.
   (B)   Whenever possible, meters must be placed on adjoining property lines so that one tap can feed two meters in the same tile.  When this method is used, a one-inch water tap will be made; therefore, each resident shall pay a total tapping fee.
